Halloween Parade at Preschool!

Madi had her Halloween celebration at preschool today! Let me tell you, it was the most adorable parade ever! I don't know how many "ooohs" and "awwwws" I belted out, but it was tooo freakin' cute! Parents were not allowed to peek into the windows of the preschool while the kids were getting ready. The preschool covered all of the windows to make sure of it. :) There was a sign on the front door for parents to go through the back, into the playground, and wait for the parade to start. We waited and waited. Oh, the anticipation of seeing our adorable little monsters and princesses went through the roof! And then they cued the music... And out came the little munchkins, all in their Halloween best!

Madi kind of refused to wear the (time consuming) peacock costume I made for her this year (go figure), so she strutted her stuff in last year's Halloween hit: THE SUSHI ROLL!!!

One by one, each decorated child followed the next in a straight line, then climbed onto the wooden bench to proudly show off their Halloween costume:

And after the parade, all of the kids sat together to take a group picture:

Cheese! I mean, sushi!!!

After the class picture, the kids were off to go trick or treating around the playground, while us parents held up bowls and bowls of sugary confections. Thank goodness Madi didn't fill her bag up. ;)

Looks like Alexa scored some Skittles!

Look at all the adorable kids and their Halloween costumes!
