A Day In The Life Of Our Madi Cakes and Baby Brandon: Disneyland!

We took Madison to her 2nd Disneyland trip this past weekend. To make the experience that much more exciting, we ended up staying at the Disney Grand Californian Resort for 2 nights to guarantee we had enough time to play at Disneyland! Wow, we had a BLAST! But boy, was it exhausting! :) That extra hour we gained from Daylight Saving didn't do much for fun recovery. :) Madison was SOOOO excited to see Mickey and Minnie... And Donald and Goofy... And Daisy Duck and Pluto. I think she was more excited to be staying at a hotel. She was ready for this vacation!

Her favorite ride at Disneyland? Why, the merry go round, of course!

Madi was SUPER excited to meet Mickey Mouse! She asked him to do the "hot dog" dance (from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse TV Show), and he did it for her!!! Twice!!!! She was one happy little girl after that!

Of course, she got kisses from Mickey too!

Saturday morning, we ate breakfast with some "critters" at Chip and Dale's restaurant at the hotel. Madi met Timon from Lion King! She thought he was funny!

And a monkey from Tarzan... I think? Whatever Disney movie he's from, she loved him. :)

And Dale!!!! Madi met Dale!!! They were playing around with each other and Madi couldn't get enough of the silliness.

We ventured into Disney's California Park, and visited "Carsland!" SOOOO much fun! Here we are, waiting to go on a Tow Mater ride. Madi and Daddy sure now how to kill time waiting in line!

Looks like Snow White stepped out in her princess gown for the night.

Dumbo!!! Madi LOVED the Dumbo ride. Too bad the lines never got any shorter, or she probably would have ridden on Dumbo as much as she rode on the merry go round.

Snow White took a long dance break after her Dumbo ride. She got so lost in the magical music in Fantasyland that she danced her heart out for at least 30 minutes. :)

Seeing how much Madi enjoyed having breakfast with random critters, we thought she would LOVE to have breakfast with the Disney princesses as well, on our last day at Disneyland. Especially since she was obsessed with her princess dress... Ummm... Let's just say that she was less than impressed. She didn't care about the princesses, let alone, acknowledge their presence. She definitely gave them the "there's only enough room for ONE princess in this restaurant" death stare...
