Madi's First Duck Feeding Experience!

It's been fun having Elbert home during the weekdays! He's finally on vacation from work for 2 weeks, and we're making the most of it. Yay! I don't have to feel like a single mother for the next 2 weeks hahaha! Unfortunately, we're not going on any far away trips or anything. BUT, there is always plenty of fun-filled things to do locally, like...

Feeding the ducks at Discovery Lake in San Marcos!!! :)

Madi had a good old time feeding these cute feathered quackers. While sitting in Daddy's lap, Madison threw her bread and old hot dog buns to the duckies, and did her little happy dance that she usually does when she's excited.


Looks like she had a lot of customers!


Madi now knows how to "quack" when we ask her what noise a duck makes. Love it!


We will definitely be paying a visit to this lake more often! It's so nice! And I'm sure Madi wouldn't mind feeding the duckies again! :)
