Madi's Holiday Vacation.

Madison was off from school for a good 2 1/2 weeks for the holidays. I was kind of scared as to what we were gonna do with ourselves to keep her entertained (and me sane), but we had such a fun-filled holidays, that I wish we had more time to play!

One of our vacation days was spent in Huntington Beach- playing with cousins!!! Madi just loves her cousins Tyler and Katie so much that she didn't hesitate to say YES to going over to their house to play.

After a lazy morning spent in pajamas, we headed off to Aliso Viejo for a cool, winter hike. With 3 kids, we didn't get very far. :)

So we turned back around, and just played at the playground. :)

We spent another vacation day at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park (aka The Wild Animal Park for all you old school folks). We all know that Madison loves her animals! Here we are feeding the lorikeets.

And oh my goodness, we couldn't get her out of the petting zoo. She was too busy brushing every goat she could. She kept looking for her next client, yelling, "who needs a brush?" And after she would brush them, she would pet them and make sure they had soft fur...

And then there was the day we went to Legoland...

And another day we spent at the San Diego Zoo, on our free "Inside Look" tour that Madi won from a zoo photo contest last year. It was fun to see animals "behind the scenes," like monkeys, lions, and the jaguars! Here's to more fun things to do and see in 2013!
