Madison is 18 weeks old today! And ya wanna know how she celebrated? By becoming a roly poly champ!!! That's right! Our little princess decided that today was gonna be the day that she would roll over from her back on to her belly! Yay!!!!
Madi has been very wiggly the past couple of weeks, but she never seemed to get the hang of rolling completely over. She would always roll on to her sides and just lie there for a while, then roll back on to her back. This past week though, she seemed more than determined to finally accomplish that goal, especially today! And what a champ! She did it! It took a lot of energy, grunting, screaming, and will power, but she did it! She made Momma and Poppa AND herself VERY proud! :)
While Daddy was heating up dinner, Mommy decided to take some videos of Madi "talking" her head off on the floor... She was very wiggly as well- close to rolling over, but not quite, as you can see in the video below:
And then, to our surprise... Our Madi Cakes did it!!!
And a few minutes after basking in all her glory, I returned her on to her back, and Madison made rolling over look like she's been doing this professionally for years! :)
