What an exciting week for Madi! She got her very first fish tank with 6 little fishies to care for and to stare at in amazement. We've always talked about getting Madi a fish tank, but this past week, she seemed more than ready in getting one! Last weekend we went to visit cousin Tyler for his 4th birthday. And Madi went nuts after invading his room and seeing HIS Spongebob themed fish tank. Not only was Tyler's goldfish so cute and funny, but Spongebob too? That must have been the best fish tank she's ever seen!
So... The following day, we went to PetSmart and decided to look around for a fish tank for Madi. When Madi saw all of the fish in all of the big, bright tanks, she had a field day! I've never seen this girl sooo excited looking at fish before. She was screaming and squealing at the top of her lungs, and running around, looking at all of the fish. She didn't want to leave, and at one point, was sitting there kissing all of the fish tanks. This was definitely a sign that Madi wants fish, right? hahaha
Here's Madi wishing she could jump in the fish tanks at PetSmart to swim with the fishies:
So we decided to get her a wee 5 gallon fish tank. And of course, as a fan of Spongebob, Madi HAD to have a Spongebob themed tank too. We were going to get one lonely goldfish, but then decided to get 6 super teeny tiny fish to make it a party in her fish tank (4 Cardinal Tetras and 2 Guppies). Here's Madi's cute little tank!
Madi LOVES looking at her fish. She loves feeding them and scaring the daylights out of them by either violently tapping on the glass or squealing as loud as she can right next to them. I swear our tetras are gonna have a heart attack because they always seem super jumpy whenever Madi gets near them hahaha. As long as Madi is having fun with them, is all that matters, right? :)
Here's Madi feeding her cute little fishies!
What a lucky girl! Madi already has 2 big dogs to terrorize and sometimes cuddle with (when they're not running away from this monster of a girl), and now she has cute little fish too!
