Today is Mommy's 21st (+11 years) birthday hahaha. Mommy had a wonderful birthday weekend celebrating with her little Madi Cakes. Lots of food, fun, and laughs from Madi, made Mommy enjoy her birthday even more! :)
The best birthday present that Mommy got today? Madi showed Mommy that she can feed herself finger foods! Yay!!!! Madison has been doing really well with her pincher grasp (picking things up with her thumb and pointer finger). And she LOVES putting EVERYTHING in her mouth... Except for her food! Whenever we would give her finger foods, like her puffs, she would pick them up and play with them instead of putting them in her mouth to eat them. But today was the day that Madi decided to pick up her food, put it in her mouth, and eat it! Yay!!! She started off slowly...
But then mastered the skill of self-feeding in an instant!
